A Sense of Wonder

whemmer
An informative and deeply moving biographical play written and performed by Miss Lee, who portrays Rachel Carson in her late years as she tells the story of her early love of writing, her discovery of science, her reaction to the impact of "Silent Spring", her love of and caring for her family and her own struggles with the cancer which eventually killed her. Too short!

A wonderful portrayal of Rachel Carson.
An intimate look into the life and values of this remarkable woman. The viewer comes away feeling a sense of connection with one of the most important thinkers of the last century.

A Sense of Wonder
This is a very good performance of an actress portraying Rachel Carson, author of Silent Spring, being interviewed. It is thoughtful and you feel that she is having a visit with you. It is full of surprises about the life of Rachel Carson and the interviews with real family and friends at the end seals the enjoyment of this quiet gem.
